Marti Correa joined Moody’s in March 2019 as Managing Director and Head of US Corporate Finance Relationship Management at MIS. Marti manages the Business Development and Account Management efforts to develop new US Corporate Finance customer relationships—focusing on growing coverage and revenue, as well as expanding relationships with existing issuers and intermediaries.
Before joining Moody’s, Marti was Assistant Treasurer at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company responsible for global treasury operations with regional treasury teams in EMEA, APAC and LatAm. She led global strategy and execution for capital markets and managed relationships with rating agencies, banks, and intermediaries. Prior to Goodyear, Marti held senior roles as Director of business development and M&A at Nestlé Waters NA, and at Stanley Black & Decker, where she led global strategic acquisition platforms across diversified industry segments. She also worked for MBIA Inc. as Vice President, Treasury leading Capital Markets strategy and execution, pricing, and bank relationships.
Prior to that, Marti spent 11 years with GE Capital in numerous leading roles, including Vice President, GE Equity and Vice President, Commercial Finance responsible for sourcing, structuring, executing and managing private equity and distressed investment portfolios. She also worked for the EVP Office on strategy and large ticket M&A.
Marti earned a bachelor of science degree from Sacred Heart University and an MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management. She is a 2019 summer Associate at Columbia University graduate Risk Management program in New York.
