Natalie Wells is Country Head for Moody’s Investors Service in Australia and hasoverall responsibility for the company’s businesses in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific region. She also leads Moody’s Relationship Management team in Japan and is a member of the company’s Asia Pacific Executive Committee.

Since joining Moody’s in 2005, Natalie has held various senior positions within the firm for Asia Pacific. She was previously Asia Pacific Head of Relationship Management and oversaw substantial growth in Moody’s ratings coverage across both the region’s developed and emerging markets.

Under Natalie’s leadership, Moody’s has won Kanganews’ Australian Rating Agency of the Year award three years running from 2014 to 2016. Natalie is a strong advocate of diversity in the workplace and is Asia Pacific Executive Sponsor of the Moody’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Allies (LGBTA) Employee Resource Group.

Prior to Moody’s, Natalie held management and analytical roles at Standard & Poor’s, Westpac Institutional Bank, and Barclays Bank. She holds a BSc (Economics) from Macquarie University and GrDip AppFin from the Securities Institute of Australia. Natalie is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of numerous industry associations.
